John R. Conely
John R. Conely joined Seagate Properties, Inc. in 1994 to augment the company’s expansion into the institutional and pension fund real estate advisory markets. Previously Mr. Conely was a partner in the RREEF Funds, responsible for over 1.5 billion dollars in real estate portfolios and separate accounts. During his 15 years with RREEF, Mr. Conely was active in the underwriting, management, development, expansion, and disposition of retail, urban, and suburban office and industrial properties valued at over 2.7 billion dollars. In addition, to his portfolio management expertise, he played an early and primary role in developing RREEF’s property and asset management organization.
Prior to 1979, he was associated with Coldwell Banker and Company and was responsible for the leasing, management, and redevelopment of a diverse commercial portfolio of retail, industrial, and office properties on behalf of institutional clients
Mr. Conely’s professional affiliations include International Counsel of Shopping Centers (ICSC) as a Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designee, the Urban Land Institute, and Building Owners and Manager Association. He has also served as chairman of the Los Angeles Arts Council, the Executive Boards of the Los Angeles Chapter of IREM and the Century City Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Conely earned a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) degree with an emphasis in finance and accounting from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.
